The traditional family is still the best for children
The Children and Family Relationships Bill is one of the most significant and far-reaching pieces of family law legislation introduced in the history of the State. At stake is Ireland’s whole vision of the family, what our Constitution calls “the natural, primary and fundamental unit group of society”. Yet all the signs are the bill will be rushed through the Oireachtas unopposed by any party ahead of the same-sex marriage referendum.
